A Handbook to organize a Consensus Conference
The methodological handbook “How to organize a Consensus Conference” is now available online. The document has been drawn up by the National Guidelines System, the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research and the Centre for the Assessment of the Effectiveness of Health Assistance (CeVEAS) of the Modena USL.
The handbook analyzes pros and cons of the consensus conferences and suggests the best tools to effectively utilize this procedure to produce clinical practice recommendations.
The whole procedure for the organization of a consensus conference is described thoroughly in the handbook, from the creation of the proposer committee to the initiatives for the dissemination of the recommendations.
