Topic of the guideline:  
Has this guideline been drawn up by a multidisciplinary panel? The medical specialty of each single participant, when provided in the guideline, is listed, along with the number of participants for each specialty and the type of non-medical participants: users, economists, pharmacists, nurses, psychologists, etc. Therefore, readers can have an idea of the balance of the different points of view inside the work group in relation to the specific topic treated in the guideline.

Grading system

The grading scheme chosen by the work group to define the strength of recommendations and the levels of evidence supporting recommendations is described.

Does a bibliography exist? (year of updating)

Are the methods for reviewing literature explicit?

 

Is there an economical analysis?

 

Has the conflict of interests been declared?

Has a review been planned? (date)

 

Has an implementation strategy been described?

 

Are the monitoring and evaluation markers described?

Specific markers used to assess the actual implementation of the guideline, both in terms of process and outcome markers, are reported.
